You can
probably add at least two fans to your current case (be careful not
to
reverse the airflow direction through the power supply, though). For one case:
I
drilled many 1/4" holes behind two of the blank front plates where some of
the
drives
are and installed a case fan on the back of these; I drilled out the holes
at the
front bottom of the case and doubled the case fan inside there; I added
a fan
to the rear exterior where there was enough space and openings for
the air
to flow through; I mounted an external case fan over the power supply
vent.
Check first to see if the air exits or enters the power supply vent, then
make
sure the majority of the fans support this same direction of air flow through
the
case. The results can be noisy, but the SCSI drives in this case stayed near
room
temperature (before doing this, they got too hot to touch comfortably).
