You can view this logically...

The image you see from the camera is the image

you will get with analogue capture (assuming no

compression, and a really good capture device).

The original 5:1 compression characteristics and

artifacts (most easily seen with motion) will

remain visually (they were part of the original

image), but what caused them will have been

removed, giving you better material for working

with blue/green-screening...
