It was not my web-site, and I was sorry to see it go

(though much of it at last look was outdated). Since I

have both the current MS codec and Raptor codec

installed on a new computer, I can compare these, at

least (when I get to it). The old site indicated that

the MainConcept was about as good as the Raptor - and

the current MS and Apple codecs are quite a bit better

then they were (I also used the MS codec on one project,

but did not have multiple generations of rendering.

For one generation, it was about 1/3rd slower than

Raptor in rendering, but the quality was good (I found

no obvious faults).
