But
AF/E/etc. lenses can be used with stop-down metering
easily
(just poke a finger nail up into the "prong slot" in the
meter
until two clicks are heard - meter with the DOF
preview
pushed in) - and this method is more accurate
than
normal-mode since the actual light passing through the
lens'
aperture is being measured directly, instead of using
an
analogue for the aperture which may not accurately
represent
it...
