I know of two DV500s locally which appear to have differing

color saturation. I'm surprised, though, if there is no menu

item that permits adjustment - this is on most "prosumer"

camcorders, and it is quite useful. BTW, lower contrast and

color saturation can be an advantage when shooting - and

these are easy to modify while editing...
