I agree
with the other posters that the VX2000 is a better camera than
the
VX1000 and TRV900, good as they still are compared with some others.
As for
the Panasonic DVX100/80, it is well worth considering - though for
many
types of work I still prefer the image from the VX2000/PD150 (for its
very
slightly better sharpness with slightly less oversharpening, and slightly
smoother
image in low light - though the lens of the 100 is slightly wider, with
less
linear distortion [but the WA converter selection for it is much more
limited
than it is for the 2000]). The GL1 and Panasonics other than the
DVX100/80
(though I liked the EZ30U/950 for some things) are not in
the
running compared with the VX2000, though the Canon GL2 and JVC
DV-GY300
may be for some purposes. I did not like the Sony TRV950.
