The
cheap Sony and Nady wireless sets were unacceptable
in
terms of audio "disturbances" that were annoying; the Azden
set may
still be subject to "swish" interference noises, but
these
do not obliterate the wanted parts - and there are no
sharp
"klunks", etc. to annoy... It is not that we like the Azden,
but
that it is acceptable for some types of work, and it doesn't
cost
the $500+ that better systems cost. I use two for safety
(or a
mini-disc recorder instead), hooked up in "stereo"
with
different frequencies, using simple small Radio Shack
adapters.
