I used to use the tiny Panasonic capsule used in

a home EQ/room-flattener device in paralleled triples

for audio recording, and these sounded QUITE good,

though a tad noisy - but at $1.50 each for the capsules,

it was a better-sounding mic than most available at

the time short of Neumann KM83s. I have some nice

recordings made with both...
