Nikon
has followed Canon's excellent marketing by introducing
a set
of very cheap lenses to entice beginners to enter the product
line.
Once hooked, many then go on to buy "the good stuff",
though
some of these cheap lenses are dreadful, and based on
experience
with these, it is a wonder anyone stays loyal to the
brand
(but it works in marketing, so......;-).
I don't
know this particular lens. I recommend buying it from a
good
dealer that accepts returns gracefully - and, who knows,
it may
even be a good deal for you for what you want it for...
