I hate neck straps for cameras. They leave the camera

vulnerable to dust and crashing into things (including

me), and they get in the way when shooting/reloading.

I prefer to have the camera in a small bag when not

using it, and in my hand when using it. I make a

wrist strap from a good shoe lace, tying it to

the right eyelet, with a short loop and then another

knot about 2-3 inches from the eyelet, with another

knot making a loose loop for my hand to go through.

This prevents accidental dropping, does not get in the

way, and makes the camera easy to stash...
