This is
better placed in rec.video - but I just happen to
know
the answer (I have a "ton" of these WA converters
for
video cameras...). The answer is: a fisheye-type is not
undesirable
(we see in fisheye perspective, and WA
movement
effects are minimized with this type of perspective);
the
smaller the number, the wider the view (assuming honesty
on the
part of the manufacturer, which is not always the case);
and the
very best WA converter that I have seen that is not
"fisheye"
is the rather heavy and expensive Sony HG0737
(.7X,
37mm thread-mount).
