The
very best VHS dubs from Mini-DV that I've seen (other than
commercial
VHS film transfers, of course! ;-) were done by EK Media.
Pricey,
and you need to adjust sound peak levels down for their gear,
but it
almost looks really good! ;-) (It is MUCH better than I can do...!)
