It has been replaced with the MUCH better "2"

This is a 1-chipper (the 300, not 3000, is a VERY

good 3-chipper, along with the Sony VX2000/PD150,

Panasonic DVX100, and Canon GL-2 [XM-2]). The Sony

TRV900 and VX1000 (used) and new TRV950, and even

the cheaper 3-CCD Panasonics (mostly not favorites

of mine) are also better buys than the XM-1...

Picture and sound quality, control range and

ease of use (both auto and manual), viewfinder

quality, dependability, ease of packing and

holding, etc...
