You mean the "auto/manual" switch on the VX2000?
There is also the "custom controls" set, that
permits
single-entry selection of a hue, saturation, sharpness,
auto exposure bias, and maximum-gain set of alternative
settings. As I recall, the new Panasonic PDX100 expands
on this by having several sets of settings available...
