There may not be much demand for it (particularly at anything near

CO's outrageous new price...), but it is useful on some medium-long

moderate-speed teles and fast zooms in 35mm (and possibly 2 1/4)

for macro work (and it can be used with step-up and moderate step-down

rings to adapt it to other sizes...). BTW, Canon, Nikon, Minolta, and

others sell good achromats at more moderate prices...
