You can find the 18-35 Nikkor compared with the 17-35
plus Nikkor non-zooms in the same range, at:
www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/articles.html. BTW, I find
WA zooms much less useful than tele zooms, unless
the viewpoint is fixed, so I prefer generally-better
(and smaller/lighter) non-zooms. The 20mm f2.8
Nikkor is excellent, as is the 35mm f2 - or a
compromise 24mm f2.8 as a single lens replacement
for the zoom... BTW, with the WA zoom, I would bet
that you will use one extreme or the other for
most photos...;-)
