I have shelves full of WA converters for use on video
cameras, where many of the "El-Cheapo" ones made
for
35mm can be excellent (for video, if not for stills - though
a couple of these do work well enough for 35mm stills
if the lens is stopped down to f16 or so). I never did
get the Spirotone version - but it was unusual in that
the aperture ring to be used was on the converter and
not the prime lens. It was not very sharp, though, and
it does not work on video camera zoom lenses at all...
