Excellent question. I have a VX-1000,
but the size is just too big for my

Look at
a TRV33/38 for small size, sharper picture, and good
color
(picture contrast is high, and low-light range is limited,
though).
I find the tiny "upright" cameras very easy to hold
(I
developed my own grip, leaving the strap extension folded).

I thought for sure they

The
"Zeiss", "Leica", etc. stuff is marketing hooey. Notice the
VX2000/PD150
lenses are also not "Zeiss", but they are very
sharp...;-)
The TRV900 is not as sharp as the other 3-CCD
cameras
in your group, but it is good, and it will shoot in
low
light (and it is about the same size as the 950). BTW, I
have
four of these, and 1-2 must go to make room for the
TRV950
and another VX2000 (there really is a limit to how
many of
these one should own, really...! ;-).

Thanks for your input.

Where did you buy yours from? I was
thinking of getting one from B&H...
A good
dealer - but I bought mine used (my preferred source,
when
practical...).
