It is
unlikely to be soon - the Sony model replacement
schedule
for their 3-CCD Mini-DV camcorders is
several
years long. The TRV950 appears to have an
excellent
bright-light picture (and it is relatively compact),
but its
low light range is very limited. (BTW, I will know
more
when mine arrives...;-) Why not get a VX2000?
It is
in almost every way a better camera than the excellent
VX1000,
in a similar "package". A good used TRV900
is
another alternative...
