Go to http://www4.big.or.jp/~a_haru/index.html and

compare the MX2000/2500/3000/5000 images with the

VX2000 images, or even with any Sony 1-CCD camera images

(for low-light range). The VX2000/PD150 image is easily

better than these in good light, with FAR greater

low-light range available. The only Panasonic that is

comparable with the VX2000/PD150 is the DVX100, and I

still prefer the Sony to this excellent camera...

I think for event work in low light, you will find

all but the DVX100 difficult or impossible to work with

(I took an EZ30U to a reception once, and after a quick

look in the finder, it went back into the bag, never to

go on a low-light job again...;-). Best bet, if you have

a PD150, is the VX2000 with its similar picture...
