The VX2000 PS-mode has been optimized to maximize
stills image quality, and it looks terrible when
used for motion-video (but, then so does the
PS-mode of every other video camera, when viewed on
normal TVs with motion in the image...;-). Use
normal (interlaced) mode for TV-viewing, since this
will smooth image motion; use PS-mode (of other
cameras) for computer-monitor viewing...
