I like the "look" of the video from this camera

(shot in flat lighting, anyway...), but I would

not consider it only "one step below the 3-ccd

cameras..." - its picture contrast is high, it

tends to lose detail in highlights and shadows

easily, it shows considerable "stairstepping"

on contrasty edges with motion, its color is

not neutral and the color is less saturated than

with a good 3-CCD camera. It is small, and the

video *can* look good, though... $1000 may be

a bit high, unless you are seeking this particular

model, it is in perfect (and low-use) condition,

has never had a cleaning tape in it, has had only

one brand of tape in it, was kept VERY clean,

and comes with good, useful accessories... You

can buy new the Sony TRV33 or similar for

considerably less, with some picture advantages

(though these new Sony cameras have that miserable

touch-screen control-system, and the low-light

range is less due to the smaller CCD size used).

I guess if the price were right, I would prefer

the older PC100/110 (with its nice "feel" and

better controls) to the newer cameras...;-)
