The eyepiece-LCD VF can some advantages over direct reflex
viewing: a good one can give you a good guide to exposure
and color balance (and can have the "zebra stripe"
highlight
exposure indicator...). Transport problems are likely to
develop FAR sooner than LCD problems on most camcorders...
