The
GL2's longer lens is useful for wildlife; the VX2000's better
picture
(especially in low light) is useful for weddings. A tele
lens
converter can be added to the VX2000's 12X zoom, but these
are not
as good as using a good lens that is longer in the first place
(though
good wide-angle converters exist which give better results
than
tele converters). If you go the Sony route, try the Sony tele
converter,
which I've heard is better than most - and it will get you
about
the same angle of view as the Canon...
