I'm not
sure why it is not made "crystal clear" to users of any of these
camcorders in their manuals that the ONLY way
full-resolution video
can be
transferred in its original digital form is by way of FireWire.
Oh, BTW
(lest the *other* question comes up...;-), the TV and
computer-displays
are very different in characteristics, and the image
will
not look the same on both, though the digital material is the
same...
