It is a
fine lens, sharp to the corners wide open, and relatively insensitive
to
focus distance for sharpness. It isn't quite as "snappy" as the
75-150
stopped
down a bit, but it is faster at the long end than the current lens
by a
full stop, and better at the edges at wide stops. It also performs well
on the
TC14A, making a compact longer FL range possible. BTW, there
is more

I have
a couple in mint condition 70-210 f4 E lenses FS at
www.David-Ruether-Photography.com/fs.htm,
though they are not cheap...;-)
