MUCH
more important than ANY spec is what the picture actually
looks
like. All camcorder pictures represent a set of compromises,
with
each model often showing different balances - and some camcorders
can as
a result have problems that are troublesome or difficult to overcome.
While
*in general*, larger CCDs, of more sensitive types, with higher
pixel-counts
*may* be preferable (and having three CCDs instead of one),
there
are so many exceptions that even this is not "safe". (And, BTW, I
would
not recommend either of your choices for general use, if your
standards
