Yes. The linear distortion is actually greater with the

24mm f2.8 Nikkor than with the 20mm f2.8 Nikkor, though

it appears less at the far edges of the frame (the 24

has quite strong barrel distortion away from the edges,

which diminishes as the center is reached). The 24mm,

though, is a bit sharper at the edges/corners wider than

f5.6, but with both, the sharpness at the edges/corners

"pops up" noticeably around f5.6 and becomes quite good...
