The Green Dragon burns. The giant dragon (often complete with flapping wings, moving head[s], and smoke-belching mouth - with the first-year Cornell architecture students underneath to power it, and to fill and form its long tail), proceeds to move in a ponderous and mythic manner from its birthplace toward the engineering school, accompanied by thousands of cheering people. The dragon suffers the snowball and egg attacks of the Cornell engineering students before returning to its home and a fiery St. Patrick's Day end. A wild mud-fight generally follows...
