The several
MIDI PIECES here were
made with a Turtle Beach Tropez sound
card using a program called Microsoft
Music Producer (along with the occasional
use of a MIDI keyboard). The
MIDI was
edited using Studio 4. Unfortunately (or
maybe fortunately 8^), the
MIDI PIECES
would sound different when using different
sound cards for playback - so I converted
them to WAV files using Syntrillium's Cool
Edit. These files were then converted to

MP3s for use on the web site...

For those not familiar with Music Producer,
I include a 100% screen grab of it below.
It offers a large number of music styles,
playing "personalities", bands, tempo and
key choices, piece "shapes", lengths, etc., and
it includes a mixer with which the band
MIDI
instrument placement and relative loudness
can be determined. The resulting
MIDI files
can be placed in a
MIDI editor for modification,
mixing, and instrument changing. They can
be converted to WAV files for further work.
Unfortunately, Microsoft Music Producer is
no longer available...
