COLORADO RIVER
AREA
(near Moab, Utah)
Many years ago David had driven along this road (now Scenic Byway 128, and paved) that follows the Colorado river near Moab. The tamarisk then was changing color (in December), but it was a feathery green on our trip. Rafting appears to be popular on the Colorado now. We continued on Interstate 70 toward Colorado National Monument.
